It’s only by the crazy grace of God that defies human reason that this impulsive, ignorant, well-intentioned but ill-informed, passionate fisherman who swang between cowardice and violence was transformed into the pivotal figure in the formation of Jesus’ church. As we pivot between his first and second letter, we’re going to dive into 3 sermons he gave in the Acts of the Apostles that mirror themes in 1 and 2 Peter. We see assurance, affirmation, baptism and boldness resulting from this man’s radically righted view of God, Christ, and salvation.
