Nehemiah 12:27–43
The people of this newly rebuilt Jerusalem gathered to corporately worship the God that had accomplished so much in their midst. Like the people of Jerusalem, Pastor Mark Driscoll applies Romans 11:36-12:1 as the backdrop for our worship, so that we are lifting up new songs to our Creator and turning away from those false idols that so often cause us to stumble.
